Data Deletion Instructions

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from the LIMS platform, in compliance with data protection regulations and Google Play requirements.
How to Delete Your Data
1. Delete Your Account via Settings
If you are a registered user, you can delete your account and associated data by navigating to your account settings within the LIMS application. Look for the "Delete Account" option in the Account or Privacy section. This will permanently delete your personal information from our systems.
2. Submit a Data Deletion Request
You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting our support team. Please send an email with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include: your full name, the email address associated with your account, and your institution name (if applicable). We will process your request within 30 calendar days.
3. Delete Data via the Mobile App
Open the LIMS mobile app, navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Follow the on-screen instructions to permanently remove your account and associated data. Alternatively, you can uninstall the app and submit a deletion request by email.
What Data Is Deleted
Upon receiving and verifying your deletion request, we will delete: your personal information (name, email, phone), your account credentials, and your user profile data. Please note that certain information may be retained as required by law (e.g., financial transaction records) or for legitimate business purposes. Library circulation records that you created as an administrator are owned by your institution and are subject to your institution's data retention policies.
Deletion Timeline
We will process verified deletion requests within 30 calendar days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been permanently deleted. During this period, your account will be deactivated and your data will be inaccessible.
